Card text
The vintage card. Tribal Wars has been running since 2003 and the interface shows it: a grid of small buildings and a lot of tables. The game underneath is as sharp as anything in the set. One village, farm the abandoned ones around you, build an army, join a tribe, train nobles, take other players' villages for good. Then defend them.
It's the most demanding card by a distance. Attacks land in real time, tribes coordinate to the minute, and on a normal-speed world the people who do well set alarms. Worlds end after months with a tribe crowned, and a premium account smooths a great deal of the clicking; a non-paying player can compete but works harder for it.
We nearly left it out of the set for pace alone. The first week is slow and the tutorial doesn't prepare you for the game that follows. It stays because when it clicks, in week three or four, it clicks harder than anything else here.
