Are these real trading cards?
No. The card is the review. There's nothing to buy, trade or collect from us; the format is a way of showing four sub-grades and a verdict at a glance.
Do I need to download anything?
No. All five games run in a current Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS. Each card's set info says which also have a mobile app and whether progress is shared.
Are the games free?
Free to begin and free to keep going indefinitely. All five make money from a premium currency and time-savers. How much that gets in the way is what the Fair sub-grade measures.
Why only five cards in a set?
Because five games we've spent a month each in tell you more than fifty we've opened once. A game has to survive the full grading window to be printed at all.
What does a Common mean?
That it graded between 7.0 and 7.4: a game we'd recommend to the right player, with misprints that matter. It is not a bad game; bad games aren't printed.
How is the site paid for?
Affiliate commissions from the "Add to binder" buttons, and nothing else. Publishers can't buy a slot or see a card early, and commission has no effect on a grade.
Can I suggest a game for the next set?
Yes, please. Use the contact page and tell us why it deserves a card. Browser-first strategy games with a living community go to the front of the grading queue.
